Nyani wanted to work in entertainment since she was 3 years old. Her mother enrolled her in performing arts camp at 6 and has been acting since. She holds an Associate of Occupational Studies in Acting from the prestigious American Academy of Dramatic Arts and is an alum of the Philadelphia High School for Creative and Performing Arts, where she studied Theater and Film.
Her on-camera technique was sharpened at Walnut Street Theatre under instructors Drucie McDaniel, Jasmine Hammond, and Sharon Geller, with a focus on film acting, commercial auditioning, and intermediate camera work. She also trained in film audition techniques at Alliance Theatre with Sharon Foote. With a strong foundation in both stage and screen, Nyani brings refined craft, presence, and versatility to every role. View her Actors Access resume here.
Nyani most recently starred as Evie Schuerman, the youngest Holocaust survivor and Eva Vazer portrayed in Survivors — an award-winning docudrama written by Wendy Kout, inspired by real-life testimonies and compared to Hamilton for its powerful, diverse cast and contemporary storytelling.
Her performance toured the West Coast, leaving a lasting impression on audiences and educators alike. From scripted scenes to high-energy arenas, Nyani’s work is grounded in heart, purpose and power.
